"This is the first Bastide product that I tried. The older I get, the more importance I have placed on the ingredients in the products that I use. Bastide seems to understand this, and for this I am grateful. Bastide's Miel de Lavande Hand & Body Lotion is a great product with clean ingredients. I had a pre-conceptualized idea of what this product would smell like before it arrived; the scent is even better than I imagined. One can definitely smell lavender, but it is softened and mixed perfectly with the calming scent of honey. It is thicker than most lotions that I have tried while still absorbing quickly and easily. My Bastide order arrived quickly and was packaged with great care. The amount of attention and detail that goes into Bastide's products and packaging is exceptional. Cheap ingredients, lovely scent.
"Due to the lotion being made up mostly of glycerine and preservatives I was transported to the 1970s , but not in a good way. Fake artisanal products. Yes the scent samples smell very good."
