"I didn't know anything about this fragrance house until Fig Amour made an appearance on a "Top Fig Fragrances" list. So I decided to check out the website and order the discovery pack. I've had a good time trying all the samples. Fig Amour was a decent fragrance, However, Verveine du Sud turned out to be my favorite. Néroli Lumière was also very nice although it skewed a little more feminine than I was comfortable with. Rose Olivier caught my attention in that it smelled like something that Byredo would do. Anyway, I'm left curious to try the rest of the fragrances that weren't included in the discovery set. But it's not as easy as going to Nordstrom's to do that. Maybe Bastide can do a seasonal stall for Christmas at The Grove, the South Coast Plaza, the Glendale Galleria, or the Century City Mall?"

"I am so thankful for this coffret découverte -- I would not have tried the 7 scents otherwise. I love to have a variety, and this definitely does that. The fioles are the usual free sample size, which is just fine with me -- I welcome the opportunity to think about them. I wish they were not in so much packaging, that is completely shocking and breaks my heart (climate catastrophy!) -- I wish they just travelled modestly in a tiny box, all 7 of them could fit in a matchbox."
"I actually loved 3 of the 5 scents. Two of which were not at all appealing to me. Of the 3 I loved and would consider purchasing full size products the scent did not last. All were completely undetectable within 4 hours. With the products being priced as top shelf perfumes I cannot justify the price for a perfume that doesn't have staying power."
